Jefferson County WIOA Adult/Youth GED and College Prep

Right On Learning has recently contracted with Jefferson County WIOA to provide GED tutoring and college prep assistance for the customers enrolled in the WIOA Adult/youth works program. Right On Learning staff create learning plans with customers to target areas of weakness, increase real world applications, and develop test taking skills. Right On Learning uses multiple techniques to fit each customer’s learning style and adapts to each customer’s schedule, level of understanding, and personality traits. Staff members also collaborate with WIOA case managers by sharing information to obtain a well-rounded approach to customer assistance.

• Work collaboratively with case managers to accurately assess customer needs
• Create tutoring and individual study plans to map out customer’s path to attaining GED
• Assist customers in understanding the testing procedure and test taking skills
• Keep customers accountable through relationship building, outreach, and continued status assessment
