Alameda International Jr/Sr High School

Alameda International Jr/Sr High School

Consisting of 2-4 tutors, this program works specifically with the social studies department to offer in-school writing tutoring for both high school and middle school students. Right On Learning provides one on one tutoring for students who struggle to write coherently in their social studies courses as well as in-classroom tutoring assistance. The tutors utilize the resources provided by the classroom instructor to aid the students in their assignments and to provide them with supplemental learning opportunities. Teachers sign-up based on the needs in their classroom and send groups of around 5-6 students per class period with their assignment each day. Right On Learning provides this service three days a week. This program has been in progress since the beginning of 2017.
